Word on the street—15th Street, that is—is that Sally Quinn’s column
has been dumped. I thought nothing could top the don’t-wear-red-and-green-to-Shabbat-dinner
tutorial, until I read
this, which was all sorts of awful. Given that my voracity for her family’s gossip is topped only by my disdain that the Washington Post would hire her to write about it, I am glad to hear that the paper is returning to its regularly scheduled journalism.
Is this an EWA blog, or one for your personal vents?
ReplyDeleteI think you're great, but this is too off-topic, and thus, off-putting.
Not too off-topic, in my opinion. Many of us are journalists, and Sally Quinn's column was an embarassment to an otherwise great paper.
